1-2-3-4-5 Punch and Repeat

Wow we have a lot to catch up on!

So I have to finish up Thursday, even though today is Saturday. Hahaha

So Thursday after school I met Sarah at the kid’s school to see where they are picked up. Once we got them, we went over to Sarah’s house to work on the program for the football game.

Alright so I know I have mentioned that Sarah’s husband Rick is the head coach of a football team… Friday was the first game of the season, so Sarah was making the program for the game. It has like the players and things about the coaches and adds, and all kinds of stuff…. 44 pages worth of stuff… well 22 front and back. Anyways she was still printing the pages out and none of them were whole punched… she did the comb binding on them. So there was this machine that we had to use to punch the wholes.

You could only do 5 pages at a time in it, so she printed out each page and I would punch all of the one page. Once all of the pages were printed and punched we laid them out in order, like page one/two then page three/four… and so on. And just went around and put each program together. When we finished that it was 12:30 at night so we put the bindings on a few of them but then I went home. Sarah said she was going to go to bed but then I guess she stayed up till 2 and did them, I should have just stayed cuz I didn’t get to sleep till 2ish. Lol oh well, she got a lot more of the bindings on. But we worked on them from like 3 till 12:30. lol so like 8 ½ hours. Haha

So then the next day She got up early and finished them. Rick took the kids to school and I picked them up. Orlando got out at noon so I picked him up and we came back to Grandma’s house and had lunch and made a castle out of these blocks.

Then at 2 we went and picked Nina up then went back to Sarah’s house. She had to make dinner for the football team, so I helped her with that and then she took the team dinner and the kids and I stayed home and I got them to clean up the living room and kitchen. She had been so busy she hadn’t really had time to clean the last week. So the kids… and when I say kids I really only mean Nina and me… Orlando was to busy playing. When Sarah got home we ate dinner and then went to the game.

The game was awesome we won 41 to nothing! Orlando was soooooo excited! He gets so worked up at the games. So cute. The game was over at 10ish, and we didn’t get out of there till like 10:30ish. On our way home Sarah and I were super hungry, and we didn’t want to make something when we got home. So we stopped and got chilly cheese fries. We got home and were like… we really shouldn’t be eating this at 11o’clock at night haha but it tasted good. Sarah and I feel asleep on the couch, then eventually went in the kids room and slept on Orlando’s bed. Orlando and Nina were sleeping in her bed together. At like 1 I the morning Orlando came and woke me up and was like… Brittany… and I was like… what… then he said… Im so happy we won the game, can I sleep with you. So he climbed in and fell asleep. Haha it was so sweet. I didn’t sleep very well cuz he’s a bed hog, but it was still sweet.

Then today we hung out, and cleaned, and Sarah made Gumbo… I took the shell things off of the shrimp… it was disgusting, but I didn’t tell her that I pretended like I didn’t mind. Haha the LSU game was on today so that was like the big deal of the day. Ricks sister came over and another one of the coaches and his family. I didn’t eat gumbo, cuz I don’t really like it. I stayed till like 7:30 then came home and grandma had made stuffed cabbage, they were so good. Now we are watching Princess Diaries 2.

Its really funny how similar Sarah and I are. The reason its funny is because she’s not just my cousin but she’s also my godmother. But we are both OCD about the same stuff. Like when we were making the programs, we would start something and it had to be perfect, and we were finally finished with it and then we got another good idea and worked for like another hour on it. Lol We have to do everything 110% We were laughing cuz Rick was like, just be done, and we were like no you don’t understand we have to do it this way. We were glad that we are OCD about the same things.

Tomorrow Adams and Joel are coming over. I’m super excited to see them. I think they are going to be spending the night. Well im’a get going.
