I Want a Man to Lead Me, Not the Other Way Around.

How come on TV men are starting more and more to be portrayed as week, stupid and lazy? There are so many shows where the husband is the butt of all the jokes. The wife is always bringing him down, and the kids show him little to know respect. I don't understand this. Is this what we want American men to look like? I know I don't.
If God ever blesses me with a husband and family, I want him to be a strong leader. I want him to lead our household just as God leads the church. I know its sexist for me to say that the man is the head of the house and the wife has to submit to him... But its the truth.

Ephesians 5:22- 24 says, "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. "

If you believe the Bible is true then you also have to believe that as women we are called to submit to our husbands. This doesn't mean that we are week and only good for cooking, cleaning, and making babies, that's not true at all. Just read Proverbs 31 we have a very important job.

Just as women are called to submit to their husbands, men are called to be good, loving Godly leaders of the home.

Ephesians 5: 25-33 says "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

This was just something I have been thinking about. What do you think?

Empty Me of Me, and Fill Me With You!

God is so amazing! He always comes through when I need him. Example… I have been running a little low on money this last month, I wasn’t sure exactly what I was going to do, I have been looking for a job and everything just keeps falling through. I wasn’t overly worried, I just figured I wouldn’t drive unless I absolutely needed to, and I would try to borrow a bike from someone, and ride my bike to church and Bible study. I have been praying that something would happen and, drum role please….. it did!!!

Now before you get to excited I didn’t get a job or anything, but I did get some money. Last summer I bought a ticket for the Resolved Conference in Palm Springs, the ticket was $100 but I am not going to be able to go because ill be working at my aunts camp. So my parents bought the ticket from me for Caleb to use. So that was a $100 that I have now. Also this week I got a check from my school for almost $100. I know it’s not a whole lot of money, but it’ll last me a while. I also have had quite a few babysitting jobs which help’s with gas. I am trying to build up my savings again.

My prayer now is for a job, any job. I had a really amazing nanny job set up for the months of April, May and June… but it turned out to be a scam. Kind of sucks, oh well. I’ll get something eventually, God will provide when the time is right.

Any ways! My hair is getting long, I’m excited, I really want it long, I think it looks better long.
I’m watching that show Hoarding: Buried Alive. It’s so sad, I feel really bad for these people. Its so sad how attached they are to their stuff. One lady was talking about how when she was growing up she didn’t have much so she promised herself when she grew up she would have what ever she wanted. It just shows how God really is the only thing that can truly make us happy. These people have more stuff then I will probably have in my entire life, and they are miserable. They lose friends and family because of stuff. When God fills you’re life you don’t need a bunch of crap. Its just sad how stuff has ruined peoples lives.

I Have Been Slackin!

Hello everyone, I don’t know if anyone will even see this, you have probably totally given up on me, guess I’m not the best blogger in the world. (Just had a random thought… 20 years ago blog, or blogger or blogging were not even words. Haha If you said blogger people probably just would think you didn’t know how to say logger correctly.) Any ways, I apologize for not keeping it up.

To start with, the kids are getting so big. Big News!! We have another great grand kid in the family! My cousin Joel had another little girl, Kaitlin Danielle. She is about 5 months now!
Baby Kaitlin isnt she cute!
She is very sweet and calm, super easy baby
.
The twins are so big; you’re not even going to recognize them. Gio has to wear a helmet to help reshape his head; he looks so cute in it. Scarlett sometimes forgets she’s not an only child and that she cant be held all day long. They are eating real food now, its so funny to watch them eat.
Baby Girl, Smiling for the camera!

Little Super Man, isnt the helmet cute.

Love this picture of her
Nina and Lando are as crazy as ever. Orlando started track, he is the youngest and smallest, but he’s the fastest. Also he thinks he looks and sounds just like Justin Bieber. Corinna is playing Softball, Sarah is coaching. She is doing really well; she looks so cute and little out on the field. It’s fun to watch her growing up, she’s getting to that age were she isn’t little any more like Orlando and Abby, but she still isn’t big yet. It’s a cool age.

We were laughing because we made the same ugly face.
So Fun!

We were having a dance party

Love them!
Orlando and Grandma playing foosball! It was a close game but he won that round.

He's my little elf!

I told him to do something cool... this is what he came up with.

Abby is in Pre-school now and loving it. She thinks homework is the greatest thing ever… wonder how long that will last. She is really enjoying being a big sister, she doesn’t quite get that its not her baby, she gets mad when ever her mom tries to tell her otherwise.

We were having a picnic in the living room, it was to cold to go outside.

Jacky is finishing up her last year in Jr. High and getting nervous about high school next year, she got accepted to a really good high school. RJ is finishing up high school and is trying to decide what college he is going to, he is thinking either Cal Polly or Arizona.
Jacky's on the right, she won an award at school.
Thats RJ... His and Jacky's pics are about a year old...
they are to cool to let me take their pics like the little kids.

Well its almost 2 in the morning, I dont know why I needed to write this tonight, but for some reason I had to do it right now... anyways im going to stop for the night. Ill write more tomorrow.
Love you,
Have a good life,
Good night!
