I Want a Man to Lead Me, Not the Other Way Around.

How come on TV men are starting more and more to be portrayed as week, stupid and lazy? There are so many shows where the husband is the butt of all the jokes. The wife is always bringing him down, and the kids show him little to know respect. I don't understand this. Is this what we want American men to look like? I know I don't.
If God ever blesses me with a husband and family, I want him to be a strong leader. I want him to lead our household just as God leads the church. I know its sexist for me to say that the man is the head of the house and the wife has to submit to him... But its the truth.

Ephesians 5:22- 24 says, "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. "

If you believe the Bible is true then you also have to believe that as women we are called to submit to our husbands. This doesn't mean that we are week and only good for cooking, cleaning, and making babies, that's not true at all. Just read Proverbs 31 we have a very important job.

Just as women are called to submit to their husbands, men are called to be good, loving Godly leaders of the home.

Ephesians 5: 25-33 says "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

This was just something I have been thinking about. What do you think?

Empty Me of Me, and Fill Me With You!

God is so amazing! He always comes through when I need him. Example… I have been running a little low on money this last month, I wasn’t sure exactly what I was going to do, I have been looking for a job and everything just keeps falling through. I wasn’t overly worried, I just figured I wouldn’t drive unless I absolutely needed to, and I would try to borrow a bike from someone, and ride my bike to church and Bible study. I have been praying that something would happen and, drum role please….. it did!!!

Now before you get to excited I didn’t get a job or anything, but I did get some money. Last summer I bought a ticket for the Resolved Conference in Palm Springs, the ticket was $100 but I am not going to be able to go because ill be working at my aunts camp. So my parents bought the ticket from me for Caleb to use. So that was a $100 that I have now. Also this week I got a check from my school for almost $100. I know it’s not a whole lot of money, but it’ll last me a while. I also have had quite a few babysitting jobs which help’s with gas. I am trying to build up my savings again.

My prayer now is for a job, any job. I had a really amazing nanny job set up for the months of April, May and June… but it turned out to be a scam. Kind of sucks, oh well. I’ll get something eventually, God will provide when the time is right.

Any ways! My hair is getting long, I’m excited, I really want it long, I think it looks better long.
I’m watching that show Hoarding: Buried Alive. It’s so sad, I feel really bad for these people. Its so sad how attached they are to their stuff. One lady was talking about how when she was growing up she didn’t have much so she promised herself when she grew up she would have what ever she wanted. It just shows how God really is the only thing that can truly make us happy. These people have more stuff then I will probably have in my entire life, and they are miserable. They lose friends and family because of stuff. When God fills you’re life you don’t need a bunch of crap. Its just sad how stuff has ruined peoples lives.

I Have Been Slackin!

Hello everyone, I don’t know if anyone will even see this, you have probably totally given up on me, guess I’m not the best blogger in the world. (Just had a random thought… 20 years ago blog, or blogger or blogging were not even words. Haha If you said blogger people probably just would think you didn’t know how to say logger correctly.) Any ways, I apologize for not keeping it up.

To start with, the kids are getting so big. Big News!! We have another great grand kid in the family! My cousin Joel had another little girl, Kaitlin Danielle. She is about 5 months now!
Baby Kaitlin isnt she cute!
She is very sweet and calm, super easy baby
.
The twins are so big; you’re not even going to recognize them. Gio has to wear a helmet to help reshape his head; he looks so cute in it. Scarlett sometimes forgets she’s not an only child and that she cant be held all day long. They are eating real food now, its so funny to watch them eat.
Baby Girl, Smiling for the camera!

Little Super Man, isnt the helmet cute.

Love this picture of her
Nina and Lando are as crazy as ever. Orlando started track, he is the youngest and smallest, but he’s the fastest. Also he thinks he looks and sounds just like Justin Bieber. Corinna is playing Softball, Sarah is coaching. She is doing really well; she looks so cute and little out on the field. It’s fun to watch her growing up, she’s getting to that age were she isn’t little any more like Orlando and Abby, but she still isn’t big yet. It’s a cool age.

We were laughing because we made the same ugly face.
So Fun!

We were having a dance party

Love them!
Orlando and Grandma playing foosball! It was a close game but he won that round.

He's my little elf!

I told him to do something cool... this is what he came up with.

Abby is in Pre-school now and loving it. She thinks homework is the greatest thing ever… wonder how long that will last. She is really enjoying being a big sister, she doesn’t quite get that its not her baby, she gets mad when ever her mom tries to tell her otherwise.

We were having a picnic in the living room, it was to cold to go outside.

Jacky is finishing up her last year in Jr. High and getting nervous about high school next year, she got accepted to a really good high school. RJ is finishing up high school and is trying to decide what college he is going to, he is thinking either Cal Polly or Arizona.
Jacky's on the right, she won an award at school.
Thats RJ... His and Jacky's pics are about a year old...
they are to cool to let me take their pics like the little kids.

Well its almost 2 in the morning, I dont know why I needed to write this tonight, but for some reason I had to do it right now... anyways im going to stop for the night. Ill write more tomorrow.
Love you,
Have a good life,
Good night!

Big News!

Live has been awesome, its been a few weeks sense I posted last. About 3 weeks ago I went home for the weekend, it was my parent’s 25th wedding anniversary, Adams and I were able to both go home for that. They did a renewal vow thingy, It was really cool to see. It was also nice seeing everyone down there.
Then last weekend was Vonna’s… a friend of ours… wedding. It was at the Masters college where Adams go’s so some of my family come down for that. There was a bunch of people from the Hospitality House that come down. It was really awesome to see everyone.
But the biggest news is… drum role please… I have a friend! Im so excited, and she’s not a stalker friend this time. Lol I met her at my church. Her name is Laurel, she’s super sweet, and funny. We laugh all the time. Which is nice. There are 7 kids in her family, so we have a lot in common. There is only one boy, that’s crazy, 6 girls! That poor little boy.
I still need a job… Hopefully ill get one soon. I’m trying, it’s just not working. But I have some tricks up my sleeve. My friend Emily told me about this website she is part of, it’s a child care website, parents can post what they need, some is like nanny, or just a baby sitter for date nights, stuff like that. So I made a profile and looked up jobs in the aria, I sent emails to a few people, ill just wait to see what happens. That would be really neat; it’s better then working at a restraint or store. One that I applied for is a nanny 3 days a week, from 3pm to 11pm. Then I sent in applications for two people who just want baby sitting now and then. Ill let ya know if anything comes of that. Emily is a nanny and she used that website, she said she has gotten several jobs from there.

God's plan vs. My plan... and the winner is... God!

So far everything down here has gone smoothly and nothing to crazy or stressful has happened… UNTILL NOW!!! This has been the craziest weekend EVER! Well I guess not weekend but Sunday, Monday and Tuesday… and hopefully Wednesday will be better.
As you all know I auditioned for the Disneyland Christmas Parade on Sunday morning… to make a long story short I didn’t get in. So I was a little… (a lot) upset about that, so I went over to Sarah’s house after. I was there for a few hours, relaxed, calmed down, took a nap. Then I was going over to my other Cousin Joel’s house, so I went to leave Sarah’s house and my car wouldn’t start. So I had a little melt down about that. Sarah tried to jump start it, but it still wouldn’t start, I have AAA so Sarah called them for me and they came out and tried to get it to start and… it wouldn’t. Sense it was Sunday nothing was open, so we had to wait to get it towed. I was able to get a hold of my grandma, and my cousin Joel had an extra key to her car so my aunt took me to pick the car up from grandmas friends house. (She left it there when she went on her trip)
When I got back to Sarah’s house that night I was going to eat dinner, I was sitting at the island in her kitchen, I didn’t know this but the top of the island is not attached to the bottom of the island. I leaned on it to scoot my chair in and… it fell off. And the picture frame fell off and broke. Just the big finish to my day I guess. Once again I had a melt down.
Monday morning I got up and we called the tow truck and he came and took it to the car fixing shop man. The shop that Rick and Sarah use is right across the street from their house. So it makes it really easy to go over there. After my car got to the shop I want to school. I was late, I missed the first 2 classes, but they were just dance classes so it wasn’t a big deal. I had a test in my business class, I think it went well, it was my first test so I didn’t really know what to expect or how to study for it. Now I know, and it wasn’t to hard, it’ll be better next time because ill be more prepared.
After school I went back to Sarah’s house and hung out there for a bit, helped the kids with their homework, stuff like that. Then they called and said my car was done so we went and picked it up. And I was sooooo excited because it was only $65 not bad at all.
I went back to grandma’s house and spent my first night alone… it was scary, but it was alright. I left grandma’s at Sarah’s house and our plan was she was going to drive grandma’s car to pick the kids up from school then come and drop it off at grandma’s house, then we would take my car back to their house. As most of you know, our plan is not always the same as God’s plan… Tuesday morning I was driving to school and my car died… again. Two guys behind me pushed me off to the side. My phone was almost out of battery so I didn’t want to call the tow truck and have it hang up on us. So I called Sarah and told her where I was and she came and once again saved the day! I used her phone to call AAA… actually she called for me because I was a little upset again. Gosh I love her! We sat there for a half hour and then the truck finally came. They towed it back to the guys across the street from Sarah’s. Turns out I need a new alternator… Why didn’t I think of that? I totally should have known that’s what it was… I didn’t go to school, because by the time I got back to her house I was almost late for class. So we both took a nap and then went and got the kids from school, and ran to the store.
That night was open house at the kids school so Sarah and Rick went to that and I watched the kido’s. We were watching the new episode of Hannah Montana, the one where Miley’s horse Blue Jeans gets hurt and almost dies!!! Orlando was sitting on the floor watching the show, when all of a sudden he ran up to me crying hysterically saying, “Its just not fare, Blue Jeans didn’t even do anything, why does he have to die? Its not fare!” He cried for 20minutes, but wouldn’t let me change the channel because he wanted to see how it ended. It was the saddest most adorable thing in the world.
Wednesday… yesterday… I took grandma’s car to school, I forgot I didn’t have my parking pass, because it’s on the window of my car not grandmas car. As I was saying, forgetting I didn’t have my parking pass, I perked in the school parking structure where I always park aaaaaaand I got a ticket! $35. Can this week get any worse? I got home from school and Sarah called me and said my car was ready… $230 later I drove my car back to Sarah’s house. I hung out there for a wile then went home. And now we come to today… Nothing bad has happened today, so I think my unlucky streak is over! Thank the lord!!
Oh I have a friend! His name is Brandon, he’s in my tap class… and no he’s not gay… He is really funny and we get along really well. I honestly think he is the first person I can say, this is my friend, about. So I took a picture of him to share with all of you. No I’m not interested in him or anything like that so don’t even say it, we are just friends. But I have a friend, and he is a Christian. Which is awesome.

This is Abby, my cousin Joel's daughter, she's 3. We put those puzzles together... 3 times!

She's sooo cute!

Orlando!

Nina eating... I think.

Nina's Chiwawa Funge... Orlando callse Chiwawa's an Ichywawa.

Alrighty then!

So grandma left yesterday. She is going on an adventure with her friends for like two and a half weeks. So I got the house to myself!!! WoooHooo… just kidding its SCARY!! But I stayed at Sarah’s house last night, so its not scary yet. Grandma’s cousins Barbra and Louise are coming and staying the night here tonight because they are going to a conference thing today and tomorrow at Anaheim Stadium so they are staying here tonight… I have met them a few times, but it was at like big family events, but everyone keeps telling me good luck… so Im a bit worried. Hahaha Should be interesting.

So my week! Last Sunday and Monday I just relaxed and worked on my resume and hung out with grandma. Then Tuesday I had school and came home and… worked on my resume. Then Wednesday, Auntie Jan had surgery so grandma was at the hospital all day. Tanya called me that morning on my way to school to see if I cold come over after school to help her with the twins. So I hurried through the day and went over there. They are so cute. I love hanging with them. Even when they are screaming their heads off they are cute. I was there until 9ish. Grandma got home like 30 minutes after me.

Little Gio! So cute!

And Scarlett! The little princess

Sleepy time!
Back and Forth and Back and Forth

So i was changing Gio's poopie diaper, and i cleaned him all up and then i put the clean diaper under him and... he pooped again, ALL OVER the clean diaper! Good thing babies are cute. lol

On Sunday they had pictures taken of the twins, they turned out really good. There are some really funny ones.

Thursday… yesterday I went to Sarah’s and hung out there after school and just got home a little bit ago.

Ok so update on that girl from school, the one that I feel uncomfortable around, my mom gave me permission to not talk to her anymore and I’m aloud to be rude to her if I have to!!! The first time in my life my mom has ever told me I’m aloud to be rude!! WooHoo I didn’t know I was aloud to just say hey I don’t want to hang out. So she texted me on Thursday and was like, “hey I know you have free time today at 11 so do you want to hang out?”… (OK, creepy, she knows my schedule)… so I was like, “Not really” then she was like, “OK, well then what about Saturday do you want to hang Saturday? I’m going to this concert thing want to come?” And I was like, “Not really” Then she was like, “I miss seeing you when can we hang out?”… (Ok, creepy, I don’t even know her) so I was like, “I’m going to be busy pretty busy from now on” lol and she was like, “Oh ok well when can we start a Bible study?” so I was like, “Well probably never” hahaha… (She doesn’t take a hint) So she was like, “oh ok well if you ever want to hang out let me know” then I was like, “K” Then that was that!! Hahahahaha It’s just all odd to me, and she makes me feel so uncomfortable. I love that im aloud to just say Go Away Crazy Lady… but in a little nicer word’s. She’s 25 years old, you would think she would have friends to hang out with… other then me! So yeah I don’t have hang out with her!
